Portrait session with a federal judge
We always try to show someone’s personality in a portrait. Sometimes photographing someone who is in certain professions such as law enforcement or judges is difficult because they are very guarded.
I had photographed this judge previously so I knew I’d be able to capture a nice portrait. It worked out even better than I expected and we collaborated on a great set of portraits.
Corporate portrait for a magazine article
Recently I photographed Dario Gill for a magazine story on the IBM executive.
We scouted a few different locations before Dario arrived so we could photograph him quickly and efficiently. Since he’s in charge of research it made sense to photograph him in front of computer equipment.
The trickiest shot was the one against a very shiny computer server. After a few adjustments on the lights, we had the photo looking great.
Candid corporate office collaboration photos
Candid office photos are some of my favorite type of corporate photography. Getting natural-looking photos of colleagues collaborating is a challenge so I enjoy the task.
I tried to get as much eye contact as possible in the photos. I try to move very slowly so people forget I’m there taking photos and they act naturally.
Healthcare marketing group photo
A hospital client was in the middle of a large marketing campaign so we photographed the leadership team. The hospital has a beautiful lobby so we waited until the end of visiting hours to photograph the large group of doctors.
The shiny marble made the lighting a little tricky but the end result looked great.
Scientist portrait in New Jersey lab
I had the opportunity to photograph a Johnson and Johnson scientist who recently appeared in an Aveeno commercial with Jennifer Aniston.
Candid healthcare photos
Last year I photographed candid photos for a major New Jersey hospital. This year they asked me to come back for new photos and I had the chance to see the original framed and hanging on the walls. The prints and the framing looked great.
